Tom joined EDAW as a senior planner in September 2006. He gained his MSc in Spatial Planning from the Bartlett School of Planning, University College London. He also has an MSc. in Social Policy from the London School of Economics and a BA (Hons) in Politics and Society from the University of Exeter.
Since joining EDAW Tom has worked on a broad range of projects that draw upon his planning and economic development experience. He was a key member of the team that submitted the Olympic, Paralympic and Legacy planning applications and has also project managed a range of urban masterplans, development frameworks and strategy documents. Tom previously worked as a principal consultant for a regeneration company, where for three years he managed a Single Regeneration Budget (SRB) programme with a significant housing and social-economic focus and a £22million pound budget. Tom currently sits on the Board of the Manor House Development Trust, the successor body to the SRB.
